Notice: Stanley A. Milner Library Parkade

Effective May 2, 2025, the Stanley A. Milner Library parkade pedestrian and pedway doors will be locked from midnight to 6am. Call security at 780-496-2620 to access the parkade during these hours. Vehicle doors will operate at all hours.
Access will be impacted due to the 99 Street Streetscaping and Waterproof Project, with the first phase starting mid-April and ending by the end of July. The parkade entrance at 99 Street, at the Citadel Theatre, will be closed, and portions of the first level will be unavailable for parking. The parkade’s entrance and exit at 100 Street will remain open.

The City apologizes for the inconvenience.

EPark is the ��ϲ��’s owned and operated paid parking program which manages paid parking at all curbside locations across the city and parkades.

EPark allows customers to pay for City-managed parking stalls through the HotSpot Parking app, by scanning a QR code on signs posted in EPark zones or .

Parking Rates and Zones

Rogers Place Event Rates

Rogers Place event rates apply when there is an event at Rogers Place with an expected attendance of over 5,000 people. This applies to stalls from 97 Street to 109 Street and Jasper Avenue to 107 Avenue, and to the City Hall Parkade.

During these events, on-street rates vary from $3.50 - $4.50 per hour and parkade rates are $5.00/hour up to a maximum of $20/event.

Parking Changes

Starting on April 14, 2025 the City began transitioning to a mobile-only parking payment system where all EPark machines will be removed.

Between March 31 - April 14, 2025, decals were placed on the front and sides of all EPark machines to notify customers that the machines are scheduled to be removed and inform people to pay , or by scanning a QR code on a posted sign or downloading the HotSpot Parking app.

The initiative is part of the City’s effort to modernize its mobile infrastructure, focus on core services and maintain financial sustainability.

How to Use EPark

Ways to Pay

Scanning QR Code

No Account Required

Pay for parking by scanning the QR code on signs posted in on-street EPark zones and parkades. Scan with your mobile phone the QR code on posted signs in the zone or on the front or sides of the EPark machine
Enter the zone number you wish to park in
Fill out the prompts for licence plate, length of time for parking and pay method and select the Pay button
- A reference page of your parking session will appear with the option to have a one-time parking receipt emailed to you

No Account Required

You will need to enter a zone number when starting a parking session online. Zone numbers are posted on on-street signage, as well as on the .

HotSpot App

Account Required

Download the app from the or the . Follow the prompts to create an account and enter your payment information.

Pay By Phone

You can contact HotSpot Parking customer service 1-855-712-5888 to have an agent set up payment on your behalf. You must have an account with credit card information on file as agents cannot accept credit card information over the phone.

EPark Machine with Coins or Credit Card

Remember your licence plate number
Find closest EPark pay machine
Enter your licence plate number
Pay by $2, $1 or $0.25 coins, by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Amex), or by prepaid gift card (Mastercard, Visa); please note that machines do not provide change or accept debit or Visa debit
Select the time needed by using the + button or selecting Max Time
Press the green checkmark if you would like a receipt

A receipt is not required for your dash and your licence plate will be automatically registered in the system. If you need to add additional time to your parking session, use the same EPark machine where you made your initial payment.

To Make a Correction

Select the red X button to correct information entered within 30 seconds, including licence plate or amount paid.

Refund Policy

Any unused time from a parking session - whether paid via the HotSpot app, online, or at an EPark machine - is non-refundable. Refunds are no longer being issued for funds from the former EPark app, or for user error (such as entering the wrong zone number or license plate).

Corporate Parking

Businesses or organizations can manage parking for their vehicle fleets or cover parking costs incurred by their staff through the course of their daily work. There are no subscriptions or fees with corporate accounts.

Parking Administrator

Setting Up an Account

Open the HotSpot app
Select “Want to park your employees and customers? Click Here”
Fill in the registration form with your First Name, Last Name, Address, City (��ϲ��)*, Email Address, and Password
Click the Register button to create your account
Check your email for a confirmation message from HotSpot

*You must register in ��ϲ�� to prevent any membership costs.
Note: The yearly membership cost of $80 does not apply to ��ϲ��.

Managing an Account

To add employees, select Corporate Parking from side main menu and add name and email address
To add funds, select Billing from side menu, then select Business Wallet tab. Add credit card information and fund amount (you may also select auto-recharge so it refills to when funds go below a certain amount)
To view payment history, select Billing from side menu, then select Payment History
To view parking history, select Billing from side menu, then select Parking Transactions
To control hours of operation, select Profile from side menu, then select Hours of Operation to date and times when corporate parking can be used

Employee Parking

Getting Access to an Account

You will receive an email notification that you have been added to an account, the email address indicated in the notification will be used to access the account
Download the HotSpot app and select Sign In
Select Forgot Your Password at bottom of the screen
When prompted, enter the email address from the notification and select Next
You will receive an email with instructions on resetting the password, check your spam folder if you don't see an email
Sign into the account using the app
Select Vehicles from side menu, then Add a New Vehicle to select a vehicle at default from the list Your Vehicles

Starting and Ending Parking

In the app, select Parking icon from the bottom of the menu
Your default vehicle should appear. If not, select Vehicles then Change Vehicle to select the one you are using to park
Enter the zone number and select duration of stay
Select Corporation under the Who Pays field
A screen will appear to indicate a successful parking session has started, with buttons to Add Time or End Session if needed (the Parking icon remains highlights in app when parking session is in progress)

Corporate Parking Customers

Can one email manage the monthly parker corporate account and hourly corporate account?

No, separate parking administration emails are required for monthly and hourly parking corporate accounts. One email can only be used to create a single account, be it a user, city admin, bundle admin, corporate parking admin, or any other kind of HotSpot account

Does Hotspot have a feature like "Park-a-Friend" in EPark?

There is no formal park-a-friend feature in the HotSpot app, however under “Manage My Vehicles” users can add as many license plates as they wish.

Who ensures responsible parking usage and audits parking history?

Business areas must determine these conditions and apply them as required.

Parking administrators will have access to all parking history.

How do I delete my corporate account?

You can contact support@htsp.ca to delete your corporate account.

How do I add or remove administrators on my corporate account?

You can contact support@htsp.ca to change the Administrator.

Will the administrator receive a notification if the account reaches the minimum balance?

No, please enable auto recharge to ensure there is sufficient funds in the wallet.
