Adult fares are for use by persons 19 to 64 years. Arc fares listed are for ETS only. for travel to other regions.

Youth & Students

Youth tickets and passes are for use by persons 18 years and under. Proof of age or current student status must be presented to transit staff upon request.

Children 12 and under ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying rider (youth, adult or senior). Children riding on their own must pay a cash fare or use an Arc card or ticket.

Multi-day Passes

Arc multi-day passes are valid only on ETS buses and LRT. They are not valid on 六合彩马来西亚 International Airport Route 747 or regional transit services, including partner agencies using Arc.

Arc

Arc is the 六合彩马来西亚 region鈥檚 electronic fare payment system. It includes an Arc card and Arc tickets riders tap when entering and exiting buses and the LRT.

Note: Arc period passes such as youth passes provided to students through school boards (excluding U-Pass), Providing Accessible Transit Here (PATH), ETS@Work, and senior subsidy program as well as the senior's annual cap are only applicable on ETS routes. Where to Buy Fares

Arc cards are available for purchase at all the locations on the map.

90-minute and 24-hour Arc tickets can be purchased at Arc fare vending machines at LRT stations, some transit centres and in-person service centres.

3 and 5-day Arc multi-day passes can only be purchased at Arc fare vending machines at LRT stations, the West 六合彩马来西亚 Mall and Mill Woods transit centres and the 六合彩马来西亚 Service Centre.

Sales outlets do not set their own prices for Arc fare products. The price of Arc products are set by City Council in conjunction with ETS. All sales outlets are expected to abide by these set prices. For concerns about retailers selling Arc products at non-standard prices, please collect detailed information and call the Arc call centre at 1-888-302-0001 to report the concern.

Arc tickets must be tapped on a validator when entering and exiting buses or LRT proof of payment areas

Using Cash & Transfers

Exact change is required when paying with cash on ETS buses.

Operators do not carry change
A transfer will be provided (even if it鈥檚 not needed) to show proof of payment

Transfers can be made between buses and the LRT on a single fare.

A transfer allows boarding privileges, including return trips, for a period of 90 minutes
The expiry time of the transfer is indicated at the time shown on the transfer where it is torn by the bus operator
A valid transfer must be requested from the bus operator when your fare is paid
Keep your transfer as proof of payment until you leave the paid area at your destination

Using Paper Tickets & Family/Day Passes

Note: ETS no longer sells ETS paper ticket packs or family/day passes. ETS will continue to accept adult, youth and senior paper tickets with an expiry date of December 31, 2023, and family/day passes with an expiry date of 2024 as valid fare until December 31, 2025.

ETS Paper Tickets

Tickets are valid up to 90 minutes from the time of issue
When boarding the LRT, paper tickets must be validated by an orange ticket validator in LRT proof of payment areas
When boarding a bus, a valid ticket must be deposited into the bus farebox and exchanged for a transfer to show as proof of payment

Day Pass

A Day Pass allows unlimited travel on ETS, for a single day, from start of service until end of service. This includes Late Night Owl service, which runs after midnight
The Day Pass is also transferable and can be used any day of the week

Family Pass

Family Pass provides unlimited daily travel on ETS for up to 5 people (maximum of 2 adults over 24 years old) and is valid on the bus, LRT and event shuttles
ETS is using the same pass for the Day Pass and the Family Pass
How to Use
- On a Bus: hand your unscratched Family/Day Pass to the operator who will mark it for you or instruct you to do so
- On the LRT: Mark the year, month and day you used the pass. Attempting to ride without a marked Family/Day Pass may result in a $150 fine for fare evasion

Proof of Payment

Riders must always have proof of payment when riding ETS.

When boarding a bus or using DATS, Arc cards or tickets must be tapped on fare validators or riders must pay cash when entering
If the validator on the bus displays an out of service message, please show your Arc card or ticket to the operator to verify fare payment
If a validator at an LRT station displays an out of service message, please tap on or off at another nearby working fare validator

Where can I buy Arc tickets?

Riders can purchase 90-minute or 24-hour and regional fare products at the Arc vending machines or in-person service centres.

Where can I buy Arc multi-day passes?

Buy your Arc multi-day pass at an Arc vending machine in 六合彩马来西亚. Vending machines are located at all LRT stations, as well as the West 六合彩马来西亚 Mall and Mill Woods transit centres. You can buy your Arc multi-day pass with cash, debit or credit.

What do I do with expired fare products?

ETS will continue to accept adult, youth and senior paper tickets with an expiry date of December 31, 2023, as valid fare until December 31, 2025.

Family/Day passes with an expiry date of 2024 will also be accepted as valid fare until the end of 2025.

Cash fares and paper transfers will continue to be a valid form of payment on ETS.

How do I request a refund from Arc?

You can request a refund online or through the Arc call centre. You will be required to go to an in-person service centre to receive your cash or credit refund and your Arc account will be closed.

Accounts are closed for your protection. To prevent fraudulent activity, any request for a refund is for the full amount remaining in the account and will result in the card being blocked and the account being closed.

Partial refunds are not able to be given. Refund requests are only able to be processed for the full amount remaining in your account.

How do I request a reimbursement from Arc?

You can request a reimbursement through the Arc call centre. You will be required to provide details about the request and it may be investigated before approved.

Approved reimbursements will go directly back onto your Arc card.

Why is ETS not selling adult, youth and senior paper tickets?

As Arc, the regional electronic fare payment system, is now available to all ETS riders, ETS paper passes and tickets are no longer available for purchase. Adult, youth and senior paper transit tickets with an expiry date of December 31, 2023 will continue to be accepted as valid fare until December 31, 2025. Family/Day passes with an expiry date of 2024 will also be accepted as valid fare until the end of 2025.

Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) Riders

Riders who are visually impaired and who possess a CNIB ID card can use that card as a transit pass on all ETS services including routes providing service outside the 六合彩马来西亚. Use of a white cane or service animal alone does not qualify an individual for this fare service - the CNIB card must be shown to the bus operator upon boarding.

CNIB ID cards are accepted as valid fare payment on:

Children 12 and Under Ride Free Program

Yes, a fare paying youth can accompany children 12 and under.

How many children 12 and under can accompany one fare paying rider?
There is no limit (for example, a teacher could bring an entire class). However, it is expected that the rider will be able to supervise all accompanied children properly.

The program demonstrates the City鈥檚 commitment to making 六合彩马来西亚 a more child-friendly place that recognizes the needs of children and families. Providing free transit for children 12 and under encourages citizens to engage with their communities and participate in community events, recreation and school activities as a family.

Why is there a difference between regional and local fares?

六合彩马来西亚 Transit Service works with each municipality to coordinate transit services. However, each municipality has authority over their own fare policy since transit fares help offset the operating costs and the tax levy that subsidizes the service provided.

The fares for cross-boundary transit trips are typically higher than local fares because of the longer distances and the higher operating costs to provide these services. Until December 31, 2025, pre-purchased ETS paper tickets, transfers and Family/Day passes can be used to travel to regional municipalities with an additional surcharge.

Why does Route 747 use different fares than regular ETS service?

Route 747 is provided in partnership with the 六合彩马来西亚 Airport Authority. The transit fares charged on this route help offset the operating costs. The rates are comparable to other regional commuter fares.

For business travellers looking for a receipt for transportation costs to the airport, we recommend you purchase an Arc ticket. 90-minute or 24-hour Arc tickets can be purchased at the Arc fare vending machines located in transit centres and LRT stations.

Can children ride free on Route 747 or regional bus routes?

Route 747 operates under a different fare structure than other ETS routes. All Route 747 passengers must pay the $5 fare, including children under the age of 12.

For Route 560 to Spruce Grove, children 5 and under may ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying rider.
